Translucent olive luster Miyuki size 11 glass seed beads. 

This is a translucent bead (a.k.a. alabaster) with a luster finish. With translucent glass, light passes through it, but it's diffused. This creates a milky or opal-like appearance. The luster coating is a clear finish applied to the beads that gives them a glossy surface.
