1️⃣ CZECH GLASS FLOWER BEADS

The small charms are made with 6 x 8 mm flowers and the large charms are made with 11 x 13 mm flowers.

2️⃣ MIYUKI BEADS

I used 8/0 Delica and 8/0 Round for the larger trees and 8/0 Delica and 11/0 Round for the small trees.

3️⃣ HEAD PINS

I recommend 21 gauge. Lower gauges (20, 18, etc.) will be too thick and may not fit through the hole. High gauges (22, 24, etc.) will be too thin and flimsy. I prefer flat heads for this project, but ball ends will work.

Make sure the head is large enough and won't slip through the hole of the 8/0 Delica beads. The ones I use and sell are about 2mm.

4️⃣ TOOLS

The Bead Smith One Step Looper (1.5 mm) is used to create a loop that can be used to hook the charms on chain, jump rings, hoops, etc. It also cuts the excess wire.

This tutorial only shows how to make the loop with the looper tool, but you can also use round-nose pliers and wire cutters.

You will also likely need narrow chain nose pliers to fully close the loops.

5️⃣ CHAIN/FINDINGS

There are endless ways you can use your charms. You can attach them to chain, hoops, ear wires, key chains, bag charms, and more!
