These beaded hoop earrings are made using spiral tubular herringbone stitch. Whether you use 4, 3, or 2 colors, the technique is exactly the same. The only difference is how you start your ladder stitch foundation row. Below please find patterns for each option with the order you need to pick up the beads to start.

Materials You'll Need

MIYUKI SIZE 11/0 SEED BEADS

You can use any combination of colors you'd like. Use festive holiday colors or your favorite colors for everyday wear. You can find the color mixes shown in the tutorial using the links below.

Candy Cane | Halloween Baubles

BEADING THREAD

6lb Crystal FireLine Beading Thread

BEADING NEEDLE

Size 10 or 12

BEADING HOOPS

25mm Sterling Silver Beading Hoops

If you use another option, just be sure the metal is strong enough to bend (and straighten if the end is bent already). I discuss this more in the tutorial.

BEAD STOPPERS OR GLUE

I find it easier to put these beaded earrings in your ear if the beads don't slide around. Therefore, I use silicone bead stoppers.

You can also use gel super glue or G-S Hypo Cement.

TOOLS

You will need scissors or cutters, a ruler, and a pair of pliers.
