I made this tutorial during the holiday season, so naturally, I chose festive color palettes. But you can use simple color palettes for any occassion. I also have a wide selection of other 6/0 Czech Bead Mixes that this would work great with, like my Frozen mix. I can't wait to try it with my This is Halloween mix.

The beaded hoop earrings are made using flat herringbone stitch with a fun twist down the center. They are stitched to a bead frame to make the circular wreath shape. For beginners, I encourage you to watch this tutorial to learn the stitch before attempting this one around the ring. However, this tutorial does walk you through step-by-step, so it is not absolutely necessary. It just might make it easier to grasp.

Materials You'll Need

SEED BEADS

You will need size 6/0 seed beads for the outer edge and size 8/0 seed beads for the center strip.

In the tutorial, I used my 6/0 Czech Christmas Cheer mix with size 8/0 Miyuki seed beads. I have them available in both gold or silver.

EAR WIRES

OPEN JUMP RINGS

The gauge of the jump rings must be able to fit through the hole of the 8/0 seed beads you're using. Miyuki 8/0 seed beads have about a 1.1 mm hole size. In the tutorial, I use 18 gauge jump rings, which is about 1 mm thick.

For the outer diameter, I wouldn't use anything smaller than 6mm. I used 8mm in the tutorial.
