Materials You'll Need
1️⃣ BEADING THREAD
Nylon beading (e.g., Nymo) thread is best for fringe earrings. I used Nymo size B thread in a cream color for these earrings.
If you're comfortable with switching thread, you can use Fireline or similar for the brick stitch portion and nylon thread for the fringe.
2️⃣ BEADING NEEDLE
Size 10 works great for this project. Big eye beading needles also work well if you're still getting the hang of threading needles.
3️⃣ EAR WIRES
These are easy to find. Simply search for ear wires. And while ear wires are not shown in the example, they attach to the thread guard.
4️⃣ THREAD GUARDS
The thread guards provide a secure way to attach ear wires to your beadwork. If you don't have thread guards, you can also simply create a thread loop.
6️⃣ MIYUKI 11/0 SEED BEADS
This design was created specifically for use with our Boho Rainbow Miyuki 11/0 Seed Bead Mix. However, the design will work with any 8 colors.
Brick stitch is the main bead weaving stitch with this design. However, you will need to create a foundation row using ladder stitch.
The finished design is approximately 7/8 inches wide and 1-3/4 inches tall (including the thread guard, but not including the ear wire).
Please feel free to use this pattern to make earrings for yourself and others as well as sell the earrings you make. But please do not claim the design as your own or sell the pattern.
