Materials You'll Need
1️⃣ CRIMP END CAPS
These crimp end caps are the star of the show. You will need these to follow this tutorial. They are solid 925 sterling silver and made in the USA. I no longer sell them, but I suggest searching on Etsy.
2️⃣ BEADS
In this tutorial, I used my Patina Miyuki 11/0 seed bead mix. For color inspiration, check out my designer color palettes and bead mix recipes.
3️⃣ CLASP
You can use any clasp with this project, but it must have an OPEN ring/loop to attach to the crimp end caps. In the tutorial I used this sterling silver lobster clasp.
4️⃣ BEADING WIRE
I prefer 49-strand Accu-Flex beading wire for the best quality and drape. Beading thread will NOT work.
5️⃣ WIRE CUTTERS
6️⃣ PLIERS
A sturdy pair of flat-nose pliers works best to close the crimp end caps. These heavy duty chain nose pliers also work well. And you'll need a second pair of pliers when opening/closing the ring/loop on the clasp.
