1️⃣ BEADING THREAD

Nylon beading thread is best for fringe earrings. I'm a fan of Miyuki beading thread.

For this specific project, I used tan Miyuki beading thread.

2️⃣ BEADS

For this project, I used round size 11/0 Miyuki seed beads from my Christmas Sweater bead mix. I have many other six color mixes that would work great with this pattern, including Pine, Sweet Topaz, Enchanted Forest, Art Deco, Southwest, and Autumn Fog.

You can also use any six colors of your choosing. Below, you can find a blank template to create this design using your own color palette.

3️⃣ BEADING FRAMES

This design works best with a triangle or square beading frame. The frame I used in the example is about 28mm wide, which fits 13 beads across.

If you have a smaller frame, you can remove strands of fringe in increments of 2. You need an odd number for the point in the middle.

If you don't have a frame, you can attach the fringe to woven beads (e.g., brick stitch).

Size 10 or 12

Finished Design Size

The finished size depends on the size of your frame. But the length of the fringe is about 1.8 inches.
